A Few Questions
Bob Praz
Those who have seen the movie more times than I, or those who have a better memory, can perhaps answer these.
When Theoden delivers a rousing speech to his riders at the Pelennor, what exactly are they crying towards the end of it? Is it "Death!", or something else?
Does Aragorn touch Eowyn's face before he leaves for the PotD (like in the trailer)?
Finally, at the end of the movie, when Mount Doom explodes and the Ring is destroyed, is there a shot of Pippin holding Merry as he's crying? This shot was featured in the ROTK preview on the DVD, but if it wasn't in the movie, than it may be in the EE. I only just realised that it was from the Black Gate, and not the Pelennor.
So basically these questions are all to help me figure out what's in the ROTK EE. If I see ROTK again (and hopefully I will), I'll look out for those things. Otherwise, I need a memory boost.
PS: Just to tell you Danny, you are right about the mirrored scenes in LOTR. Peter Jackson mentions in the DVD commentary of TTT how a lot of shots are flipped for various reasons. That probably explains many such problems, such as Merry's scar switching sides during the meeting with Treebeard.
