In answer to the question about favorite scenes, and also what scene we wished hadn't been left out, My favorite scene was Eowyn and Merry and the Witch King, followed closely by Sam carrying Frodo up Mount Doom.

I wish one scene had been included, and it probably wasn't even shot, because Peter Jackson has emphasized more of a relationship with Aragorn and Theoden where the book emphasizes the friendship between Aragorn and Eomer. I have always loved the two scenes, one where Aragorn tells Eomer that they would meet again, though all the hosts of Mordor would stand between them, and then after, when they meet on the battlefield, and Eomer joyfully tells Aragorn that he did not think of him as a man foresighted. As for other scenes that were cut that I am looking forward to seeing hopefully on the EE: Aragorn and the Palantir, the Voice of Saruman, the Houses of Healing and the Mouth of Sauron.
