TTT Title, Movie, and Isuldur's Blood
Diana

I agree Beechbone. TTT was written and titled decades before our recent 9/11 attacks. I also learned that due to publishing reasons, Tolkien had to split LotR into 3 volumes, and the publisher auggested the titles of each one. Tolkien didn't really like them. He thought TTT was too confusing, as in "What 2 towers?" and RotK was a giveaway. If we suddenly change the movie title, people are going to get confused, and it spoils the fame and tradition of the book.

Danny and Scooter, most of us who complained also said that PJ did a good job, and we like it. We are only saying how the movie could improve, and how he could make it not so confusing to those who never read the book. If viewers are just dazed and confused, not knowing what's going on in a movie, then they can't enjoy it.

We are not forcing PJ to change it. For example, I like the music and prosthetic body parts. I also like the beautiful background sets, except for Lothlorien. Though it ruined some character images, I thought the part where Merry and Pippin set off the fireworks was funny. Then in the end, I like the part where Legalos complains, "The Fellowship has failed," and Aragorn replies, "Not if we hold true to each other... I will not leave Merry and Pippin to torment. Let's hunt some orcs!" I especially like the "Let's hunt some orcs!" I was like, "Yeah!" and laughed.

When Aragorn said, "Isuldur's blood" in the story, he means Isuldur's gene. Blood is not indicative of race or descent. Genes are. However, those are not the only thing that make up a person. Each person is still different, and background and experiences also have effect. I think Aragorn would have been able to resist the Ring.
