Sam-ring-frodo
Uruviel
Ok, this is MY personal opinion of this. When Sam rescues Frodo in Minas Morgul, and he tells Frodo that he took the ring for safekeeping, it's kinda weird then because Frodo anxiously and almost with anger, commands Sam to give him the ring.
Then it's odd, because both Frodo and Sam look dangerously close to snapping and taking the ring for their own. Sam kind of with holds and looks as if he is going to back up, and Frodo looks as he is about to pounce on the ring.
It looks as if both of them are being tempted to put it on. HOWEVER, my theory is that Frodo was just trying to keep Sam safe from the corruption, and Sam was just afraid that Frodo was in danger of the same thing.
SO, when someone sees that scene and thinks that both are trying to get the ring, you can inform them that both Frodo and Sam were just trying to protect each other.
I think I'm right. Or, you could say I'm wrong, and say that they were both being corrupted............but I doubt it. :)
