Exactly!!!!

TO:inthelandofmordor. I agree with the excellent point you made to Jetrine (Titled: When movies fall short)
Her reasoning was ridiculous! She also said that the movies were "nearly a complete failure"... was she watching it?! I am just starting the books and I know they do indeed leave a great deal out, but (in my opinion)if Peter would have put every little piece in it would have been a little bit boring. Actually, 'boring' isn't really the word, but maybe drawn out. We must also consider the timing- it would have been AT THE VERY LEAST a whole hour OR two more to make it precise.
Secondly, good advice on watching the movie for the movie and not thinking of the books! You should never have to analyze a good movie!
Also, to give you MY opinion, on the whole "Is the movie a good translation?" I think so, I mean you couldn't have really made it EXACT. But the writers who translated it for the film did a brilliant job!!!
Thanks for reading, inthelandofmordor(and everyone else), I really enjoyed your letter!
Your fellow fan, Isilwen.
