Re : Favourite Character in Answer to Pippin's Pos
Glamdring

My favourite character is undoubtfully Gollum. I just think he is so well-developed ! I mean, he isn't just a plain evil character like so many fantasy villains and he isn't also a Darth Vader-like character who becomes good at the end before his death if you know what I mean.

And, sorry if it is long but I also like how Tolkien decided to portray Sauron. I mean, do you guys (or girls I don't know) think that LOTR would have been as good as it is if Sauron would have been the classical you-did-not-do-your-job-so-I-will-get-you-whipped evil wizard ? I think what makes Tolkien's good characters (already outstanding) even more extraordinary is the villains they fight.

Anyway, that's it and sorry for the length
