I'm getting blisters on my fingers from typing replies about the EE thing, so I'll try to make it more clear.

What I was trying to say(though I obviously didn't do a good job about) was that I cannot find any other expanation for leaving out the Witch-king Gandalf seen and keeping in the seen where the Witch-king says "I will break him." And IF the purpose of this was to sell the EE I doubt it was PJ's fault because he's done such a good job with the rest of the movie and the rest of the trilogy.

Hope that answers everone's questions and thanks for putting your points nicely.

As for Tom Bombadil he is mentioned in a book(I think it's a book) called The Adventures of Tom Bombadil which I have not read.

To -: Have you actually read something BY TOLKIEN, not someone else, that definitely says Tom is a Maia. I think he is, but that's just an educated guess.
