| January 23, 2004 Gandalf/witch King Maybe I am wrong as I only saw the movie once, and that was because I could not afford it more than once, but did not Gandalf whack Denathor with his staff? Hopefully the movie follows the in that in the book the confrontation is before Denathor's scene, so that Gandalf will not be broken.
