'Young Master Gandalf'

Forever ago, someone mentioned that they'd heard Treebeard say "young master Gandalf" in ROTK (when they show up at Orthanc) and wondered who was older. I don't think anyone ever answered the question (forgive me if I'm wrong), so here's my go at it. Before the Firstborn awoke, Yavanna went to Manwe and begged him to spare her trees and the fruits of her labor. (I guess she didn't realize until that moment that the elves/humans/dwarves/etc would have to use her trees/plants/fruits in order to live.) She complained saying isn't it enough that Melkor has destroyed so much of my work. Manwe took pity on her and allowed her to create shephards (Ents) to look after the eldest and most beautiful of her work, and set them to task before the Firstborn awoke. It wasn't until well after the Firstborn awoke that the Istari came to Middle Earth.

Bob-the scenes that I missed seeing in ROTK were the 1.)The Houses of Healing; 2.) when Sam is looking for Frodo and sees the stars for a brief minute and starts to sing (Sam's song); 3.)When Sam has to leave his pots 'n pans in one of the pits of Mordor.
