Ah Heck...
Pip

I saw the news this morning and had an epiphany. The Academy Award Nominations were announced today and I missed them. Thank goodness for the internet. Now, it's nice that ROTK got nominated 11 times, but WHY! WHY!! WHY were NONE of the actors nominated?!?!!?!?!?!

seriously!! This is their last chance for awards for the trilogy, and the academy (as usual) is just being plain unfair.

Johnny Depp was nominated for Pirates of the Caribbean. JOHNNY. DEPP.

What happened to Viggo? What happened to Ian Mckellen!!!? What happenned to Sean Astin and Hugo and Cate and BILLY?!?!?!

*SIGH*

I am disgusted, but not quite as surprised as I sound. I knew that the cast would get jipped when it came to awards, but I thought that at least SOMEONE would get nominated. I mean, let's get logical here: if you are going to nominate a movie for Best Picture, don't you think that maybe, just MAYBE, the acting had SOMETHING to do with it?

It's probably just me. Overreacting again.

:P

I am swamped as usual, so I am not going to post often, but I'll try.

PS The January 2004 Forum records are not coming up for me :( Are they just not filed yet?
