To Jevic of Highgate: It seems to me that since orcs are NOT elves, not anymore, they don't necessary share semi-eternal* life. They certainly don't have any other Elven properties. Also, the semi-eternal life probably comes from sonthing OUTSIDE the elves themselves; not of their bodies.

To Tuor: Thank you for responding to my post. I would agree with you except for these reasons

1: The hissing. Sounds Nazgulish.

2: The hunt for the ring is probably more Nazgul territory, even if diplomacy with the Dwarves would be the Mouths business.

3: I don't think the Nazgul terrify people as badly when they're not trying to.

4: The Mouth would have probably been described at the council, the Nazgul are more ...Non-descipt.

But the talking sounded like the Mouth. A Nazgul isn't one to put too much importance on words. It could always have been another Black Numenorian BESIDES the Mouth. As it is, I'm still undecided.

To Lilly: You asked "How DID Frodo heal?" Mabye he didn't. Mabye that wound will never fully heal. Except at the Undieing Lands. He wouldn't have left the Shire again for any other reason.
