Speaking of Enjoyably Frivolous. . .

I really can't say why, but I think Olver Platt would have made a good Bombadil. It probably has something to do with his confident, seemingly care-free attitude and overall wit in his portrayal of Porthos in the 1993 version of The Three Musketeers. However, I think someone with a deeper voice would be more appropriate. I also think it would have been hilarious if Sean Connery had been cast as Bombadil.
