Re- Orcs
Jevic of Highgate

Hmm many diffrent and deep answers to my simple question. Thanks for all the opinions, it has been very intresting.
But after looking through them all. I am of the opinion that orcs, like the elves, are immortal. Though, as pointed out, they probably wouldnt be around long enough to enjoy their immortality.
Melkor took the elves, corrupted and did bred them. But what other species would there be for Melkor to bred these evles with? Other than some Maiar, but we really dont have many of those to go around. And at this time, men had not yet arrived on the scene. But for heavens sake, please correct me if I'm wrong on this.
Anyway, being as they started out as elves. I dont think that even Morgoth could take away Iluvatar's gift of immortalilty from them.
Also, mortality is an awesome gift that Iluvatar only gave to his other children.
Oh well, thanks again! And if I have missed anything, please dont be too harsh in correcting me.
