A: Aragorn

"Cast aside the ranger, become who you were born to be."
The ranger was cast aside, but the king did not return. He was replaced by someone who "turned from that path long ago. He has chosen exile." In the book Aragorn had been preparing for his return to Gondor all his live. HE WAS READY TO BE KING!!! But the Aragorn of the movie doesn't have that kind of courage. He doesn't wrestle with Sauron through the Palantir of Orthanc. He doesn't claim it as his by right and by the power to wield it. He doesn't summon the Dead Army(the sword does). He doesn't win the Pellanor(the dead army does). Actually, most important the he did in that battle was to sic Legolas on a Mumak. And it gets worse at the battle of the Morannon where instead of commanding the Army of the West he leads an unplanned charge, abandoning their only hope of lasting long, which was to stay together and hold the enemy off.
