A Subject From Strider
Strider

I think we need to start talking about Tolkien's other works, such as "The Hobbit" or the "The Silmarillion". I would like to know something. Which is your favorite Tolkien book OTHER THAN Lord of the Rings? Why?
Also, I think I might start a debate with this question, but thats what this is for, right? Anyway, im about half way through the "The Hobbit", and it got me wondering..what is Beorn? i know hes a skin-changer, and hes a descendant of the "great bears of the north", but I dont know what that means. Ive never heard of any "bears of the north", and what are his ancestors? Any thoughts? If its not too much trouble, could everybody possibly answer this? I think its a good topic to discuss.
Thanks for reading.

I am called Strder.
