K: Kingsfoil

OK, Kingsfoil. ...Er, the Houses of Healing. All right, it's a stretch, but kingsfoil is a major part of the Houses and I wanted to say something about their being left out(I'm past H).

Anyway, I didn't think before I saw the movie that the Houses were very important. But I found when I watched the movie that they are they are almost essential to the plot. What happens to all the wounded people? How does Aragorn enter the city? How much time passes between the Pelennor and the Morannon? Important questions, and they're all left unanswered.

PS: Gandalf does have a wand in The Hobbit, but it seems Tolkien later rejected the idea, because the wand is not in LotR and its job is given to the staff.
