Re: Beechbone's
Galadhrim

Beechbone, I couldn't agree more. I have all sympathy for those who lost friends and family in 9/11, and make no mistake I love my country, but HELLO! Tolkien wrote "The Two Towers" 48, repeat, 48 years ago!! Tolkien is NOT trying to be disrespectful to 9/11! He's dead, he doesn't know about 9/11!! "The Two Towers" refers to Barad-dur and Orthanc!!! Duh!! Tolkien refers to two towers in unison who strike terror up things, not two towers that were stricken! You can't change the title of the book/movie!!! It's sacreligious in a Tolkien sense!! IT'S WRONG!! It is not offensive to have the original title of a book! I suppose now everything that has either thewords "towers" or "twin" or"world" or "trade" or "center" should now have those words changed? I'm sorry people, but open your eyes! Stop being so politically correct!! YOU'RE MAKING TO BIG A DEAL OUT OF THIS!! If one person has a problem, I'm sorry, really, but DEAL WITH IT! It's not such a huge deal. Just because of the name, doesn't mean it's an evil movie!! I'm glad that on the trailers included in the FOTR they mention that the two towers in the movie are Orthanc and Barad-dur. If you have a problem, don't corrupt other people!!
