PJ's Hommage to George Lucas

The Phantom Mencae is on FOX as I write this, and Anakin is saying goodbye to his mother.

The following exchange has just occurred:

Anakin: "Will I ever see you again?"

Anakin's mother: "What does your heart tell you?"

Sound familiar?

How about this exchange in RotK?

Gandalf: "How do we know Frodo is alive?"

Aragorn: "What does your heart tell you?"

Somebody please tell me this is merely a coincidence. I know it is possible to trace small parallels between the Star Wars movies and certain aspects of PJ's adaptation of LotR, but if PJ deliberately lifted this line from The Phantom Menace, my respect for him just took a bit of a hit.
