March 8, 2004 Tears I've seen RotK 4 times. I've cried on odds but not evens. I cried the hardest the 3rd time, mostly because I was seeing it with my best friend. During the part when Frodo and Sam were on Mt. Doom, and Frodo was saying "I'm glad to be here with you Sam, here at the end of all things", she and I were just sitting there crying our eyes out. The part were Pippin was singing really made me cry too. Strangely enough I did not cry when Frodo 'died'. However when I read that in the books I started crying and through the book across the room (ok, I kinda over-reacted, but I was only 10). I didn't cry when Frodo sent Sam home either, I was just really mad. The part that made me cry the most was of course, the Grey Havens. So don't feel bad if you cryed like a baby during RotK!
