I agree with Danny about how my imagination formed vague images until the movies, when the actors began filling the voids: and each time I read the Hobbit and LotR, it was a bit different.

jazz_man: I was very interested to read your theory about the Mithril coat, and to whoever said that the coat would be small on him, didn't it say at some point during FotR or the Hobbit that the coat was big on him? Or maybe the dwarves adjusted it....well, i don't know.
