I, for one, would definitely be interested in another published work about Middle-Earth. Whether I like it or not would depend on how it's written, because different authors write in different styles. Whoever writes it would for sure have to be confident enough that they could create a spectacular story, because we'd be reaming him/her if it was just "good." Which is why we'll probably never see another published work.

Regarding the letter U:
Gee, I don't know, I can only think of two things that have to do with the trilogy. Uruk-hai, I think you probably already covered under orcs, but I could be wrong. The other is Umbar, and you could discuss the Corsairs and the Haradrim along with that, I guess, if they haven't been discussed. And Ugluk, but what could you do with that? You could always put "Unknown" or something like that. Have fun with "X".
