Have to agree with some of the comments on the Havens.Another problem of scale here for me was the size of the 'Ship'. I mean, was he known as "Cirdan the Shipwright" or was it "Cirdan the builder of slightly oversized rowboats with a small sail attached"?
My mind's eye always pictured this scene on a much bigger canvas than they afforded it in the film, yes, Shadowfax should have been on the Ship, as should a large contingent of the House of Elrond (and Celeborn should not, thou I do'nt have too big a problem with that). Cannot understand why they skimped on it right at the death.
