TTT Petition

Ok, I've seen the petition to change the name of TTT. I have to admit, when I first read the books (post-911), I was a little concerned about the title (it just seemed creepy). But the people who came up with the petition are being ridiculous (sorry, but you are)! PJ didn't "tastelessly decide" to name it that, that's just the name of the book! A while before the Titanic sunk, a book was written about an "unsinkable" ocean liner that sunk because of an iceberg on her maiden voyage. I bet (after the Titanic sunk) a few people thought it was weird, but they didn't get rid of it! PJ didn't write the story, he's just adapting it. If he changed the title, Tolkien fans would be foaming at the mouth. So many things can be translated into "clearly refering" to something as tragic and horrible as the WTC attacks. I think it's just idiotic to change the title of a beloved classic because someone who clearly hasn't even read the books thinks it's bad. A little advice to those who wrote the petition: READ THE BOOK.
