To Pippin
Strider
Aragorn and Arwens sons name was Eldarion.
Recently, i have been reading the posts here, and i cant understand why we are discussing religion and which religion everybody follows, and why the beliefs are 'right; or 'wrong'.
There is no wrong religion. There is no right religion. there is just...belief. belief in what YOU feel is right.
it doesnt matter what everybody follows. im all for talking about Tolkiens life, and now it seems like Pullman's, but i feel we shouldnt 'judge' (in a sense) which author follows which belief.
Lastly, for those out there who are offended by this in ANY way, let me know, and i will apologize for my comments, but not my beliefs.
And FINALLY, i have to add my two cents and start a new/old argument. 'an it spread its wings from wall to wall'. pg 433 ofmy fellowship of the ring novel. geuss which chapter. 'The Bridge of Khazad-dum'. I firmly believe that Tolkien was/is talking about real, in the flesh wings. Not metaphorical wings of darkness. WINGS themselves.
let me know what ya think.
I am called Strider.
PS-thanks for listnening and reading this long message.
PPS-again, sorry for offending anyone
