A Few Answers

To answer your questions Pip, the theatrical ROTK DVD is the same as the others, save that there's no EE preview and, of course, no preview for the next movie. You can check out the official website for the details.

As for the ROTK EE, apparently it may be coming out November 22nd, which would be strangely later than usual.

As for Lem's question: if I am not mistaken, both Isildur's wife and his last surviving son (Valandil, I believe) were taken to Rivendell. After that I guess Valandil took up the kingship of Arnor. You can check the Appendices for confirmation, but that's what I remember.

Finally, the debate about truth and all is interesting, and no one is getting offended (so far as I see), so, by all means, continue. I would post plenty about my own opinion, but these days I don't have the time (or even the motivation, sometimes) to write anything too long.

Enjoy your summer, everyone.
