Contradiction
Annatar
Elendur, yes my second argument - the views doesnt contradict each other. My first one does however. A thing cannot be Evil and of Love, it cannot be both. Love is a device of good, hate being its opposite in the camp of evil. All good things having their opposites.
All things are kept in balance. Rules do apply to both sides. God does not appear in His goly because (a)he wants us to love him and everyone not because we know and fear him, but because we ultimately choose to believe in him and love everyone. There is no proof of the existence of God. People cannot say I Know theres a God. They cant say that because there is no proof. Good arguements yes, but not proof. Which is why its Faith and why people believe. Belief is supporting an idea without proof. Hand in hand with doubt, no better thing. Of course, (stir argument)what redeems people? Love? faith? both? I say Love, faith helps to keep us on the path. An atheist who fosters good deeds, who suffers and dies for others, but does not believe in an afterlife, shows more love than a believer. The simple fact is a believer half expects a pat on the back from God. The Atheist is truly unselfish when he does such deeds. Faith on its own isn't enough. No one has greater faith in God than the Devil. He Knows God. And so.........
Sorry again, everytime recently I seem to get pulled into talking like this.
Troy, yes...
They could have made it great.
They could have made it brilliant.
But they chose to wreak it.
The dialoge wasnt too bad, but the story was butchered. Why they didnt make Helen manipulative, ruthless, selfish etc...
Orlando Bloom, pretty boy, can't act. Quirky movies and elves are the areas hes best at. Now all he needs is a Quirky elf movie.
Not Balrog wings again!
Once more unto the breach...
Balrogs are like chickens, they have wings but can't fly. Mostly for show, but they could glide a little if it was a big drop. Wings Yes, Fly No. Text does refer to wings but never says they can fly, no really. Besides, why didnt they fly over the walls of Gondolin, they had, till then, nothing to fear from Elves. Fly over, open gates, voila! Nope they couldnt fly. But did have wings. Like I said, scary chickens.
If I was you I would not say that to their face though. I don't think they would be the ones getting the stuffing.
Anyways, till later mon ami :) Ash Nazg...
