June 15, 2004 Victory on Pelennor What would happen after Pelennor would depend on what happened to individuals in the battle. Aragorn, Eomer... dead? Gandalf, could he be killed, like a bad penny he always comes back. Worst case scenario, the leaders survive, but their armies are smashed a bit. Minas Tirith and Pelagir in our hands. Routed armies fall back to Rohan being followed by the valient Armies of Mordor. Evacuation of Edoras. Battle of Dunharrow, the death of Eomer, refugees try to make their way through to the Dimholt and eventually Dol Amroth, where the Armies that were organised and sent by Aragorn to Minas Tirith have fallen back to, when word of defeat reached them. Dol Amroth surrounded. The fall of the last king of Gondor and the destruction of Dol Amroth. Only a handful manage to flee by ship to Lindon. Gimli falls at the docks allowing Gandalf, Legolas and the rest to escape. The Dark Pause. Orcs in Mordor capture two rat hobbits. The "wise" detect the return of the Ring to the hand of the Master. The Nine ride to the borders of Lorien and offer free passage for the Elves to Lindon, there to depart with the rest of their kin, taking pledges never to return to Middle-Earth. The Elves leave. From the passes of the misty mountains the eastern sky is lit red by a burning Lothlorien. The Northern armies in the Dale tighten the siege, hunger takes its toll in the lonely mountain.
