To Danny: I think Tom is untouched by the Ring because he does not care about the outside world. He does not care about power, wealth, or (sadly) far-away lives. If he did, the Ring would tempt him into using it to protect the things he cares about. Please reply with your thoughts.

To Ashleigh: I'm proud to say that I try very hard to not believe in something just because it suits me, or respect a belief just because it suits someone else. I know that sounds harsh, but I think something either is or it isn't, and believing something because we like it is just pandering to our selfishness.
