My Favorite Book
Danny

My favorite book (not movie) is Two Towers. I like it the best for several reasons. The biggest reason I like it is that every page of that story is devoted to the heart of the story where Fellowship spends lots of time getting the story going, and ROTK spends lots of time winding it down. Two Towers is a book that doesn't have to spend time getting started, or winding down so it has a lot more of the story happening. I also love TTT because of Gandalf's return. When I first read the books a very long time ago, Gandalf's return was a surprise that was so exciting that I still love reading those parts. I love Gandalf's defeat of Saruman also. So for me it would definately be Two Towers on the book part. Too bad the second movie didn't manage to be good enough to capture the same praise.
