Thomas Covenant
Annatar

Man Of Westernesse, I read two books on Thomas Covenant, I got to say I wasn't over the moon about them. Saying that, it was 12 years ago, and sometimes tastes change.

Favourite Authors/books...
Raymond E Feist- Magician and evey book thereafter.
David Gemmell (all are good, most great) - Legend, King beyond the Gate, Waylander, Wolf in Shadow, Dark Prince.
Robert Jordan (even if he is milking The Wheel for all its worth), William R. Forstchen - Rally cry ~ The lost regiment series(Vushka Hush Vushka Hush!!).
Homer - The Odyssey and The Iliad (Steven Pressfield recreates the ancient style of commentators/historians of Greece with books such as Gates of Fire, Last of The Amazons)

Loads of other authors and books that are great but these strike a cord. I recommend all of the above.

Who is everyone elses favs?

Good to hear from you again Man of the Westernesse. Will you be going to Croker? Ah tis great to talk about things most non-Irish haven't the foggiest about. Not that I'm a big Gaelic fan. Rugby, soccer... yup.

Anyways, better go and do a little work... for once :) Ash Nazg...
