Re-make of LotR?
Bob Praz

When the success of the LOTR movies became obvious, I started to wonder how long it would take for other filmmakers to have a shot at Tolkien’s novel themselves. It just seems inevitable. Anyhow, I won’t ramble on for myself, as my opinion concords rather well with this excellent article:

For those interested, I recommend reading it, as it raises some serious doubts. Anyhow, how does everyone else feel about this thought? For now it seems quite distant and insignificant, as the ROTK Extended Edition hasn’t even been released yet, but many years in the future things will begin the change, and the possibility will begin to loom over us.

So, do you think LotR will ever be re-made? Do you think it should be re-made? Just a troubling question, but eager to see what people other than myself think and believe.
