| August 16, 2004 Re: the Last Ship Frodo sailed to the Undying Lands bacause he could not bear the hurt the Ring had left him any longer. Though the Ring was destroyed, its memory lived on and was at the foreground of his mind with everything he did. Only Valinor or those who lived there could heal him.
