I'm Still Here
Tuor

I'm honored by the nomination, Elendur. Though I do have a life, I'd much rather have enough free time to write 500 word articles everyday like some people here. I've been reading but have been either too tired or too...impaired to type. Plus, if you haven't noticed, Brett C hasn't posted for at least two months.

I got to agree with Annatar on Sauron. He is more capable of showing true courage. He was the only one who could suffer complete destruction, or at least a fate unknown. Gandalf could die and not return, but he'd be stuck in ooh..Valinor. Boy, that really sucks, hanging out with elves all day long in a place that happens to be known as "the Blessed Realm." Yeah, I'd sure hate to die if I were him. On the other hand, you could hardly say Sauron was courageous, since he never came out and faced anyone directly. Smart would probably be more accurate, because he was on his third strike, so to speak.

I think I remember reading somewhere (or maybe I'm pulling it out of thin air) that Gandalf and Saruman assumed old man forms in order to limit their powers. There's no way they're frail though. I can't leap on a horse and I'm over six foot tall and not even twenty five yet. It's probably wrong, but it does make sense. I do remember that Gandalf chose to be Grey, and Saruman wanted to be White, and when Gandalf "died" he assumed the title he was meant to have.

"I am not a crook..."
