Election
Elendur
Everett: I haven't thought about it in nearly that much detail, as you probably know. However, I'll take a shot.
No eletoral college. You can see the drawbacks of that if we at the Forum are the only voters.
Runner-Up is the VP.
Parties do not exist unless you make them.
Issues in Middle-Earth are a bit irrelevent, but your postion on them reflects who you are.
You can wear a funny hat, but no one will see it if you do.
You can vote for anyone, including yourself, IF THEY HAVE BEEN NOMINATED. Nominating someone counts as your vote, and give the nominee(sp?) one vote. YOU CANNOT NOMINATE YOURSELF. This way, we won't have everyone voting for himself/herself.
I'll post a count of the votes every once in a while. Deadline is US election day.
If two people nominate the same person without noticing, I'll count it as two votes.
So without further ado, I'll begin the Election for President of the Tolkien-Movies with the nomination of Brett C (hope he's still around).

PS: You don't really have to do what the President says, obviously, but it is uncool not to.
