Ah yes, the smallest violin in Ea playing for Sauron. Sauron and his bad luck. I can imagine the whining from the void, "If only Gollum had not slipped. Gandalf was always Eru's favorite. Waahhhhhhh." Give it a rest. The fact of the matter is, I wanted immortality. I would have seized it from the Valar if not for Eru. It took more than a slip from a stupid little creature to foil what was righfully mine. Even in this matter, your jealousy for the might of Numenor comes thru. You congratulate yourself for my destruction. However, I never really listened to you. I did what I wanted. You thought the Valar would destroy me, as they had your master and as they could easily do to you. They could not. Numenor was the greatest power ever in Middle Earth, and who needs women when you have POWER.
