Everett, can't say as I remember the bit about stalker etc etc. What is so incoherent about explaining why in the movie, Sauron was so difficult to hear properly? Haradian flu.

Is it just me or does anyone else think people here are getting a bit... whats the word... narky?
Or as we say in Donegal, Crabid.
We are all friends here, no need to bite heads off etc. Need I remind people that the charming, ruggedly handsome man behind the alias Annatar, does this just for laughs?!?

Anywho...
Ar-Pharazon, Numenor only reached the heights of its power because of Sauron. Sauron taught them how to create missiles, powered ships etc

To my mind, Sauron hated the Elves but it was not the focus of his plans to bring destruction on them. All he wanted was Middle-Earth. Let the Valar keep Aman!
Numenor was always doomed in its invasion of Valinor. Men, no matter how powerful against an army of Elves and Maiar, with a vanguard of Valar.

The invasion kind of shouts stupid.

Oh well, better head off (still a bit annoyed by certain remarks, grumble grumble). Goodluck my friends, to the rest.........
