Yeah, I agree Sean Astin was great as Sam. Though, yeah, the leaving Frodo part was the opposite of Sam. Seriously, who here was hoping Sam would kick Gollum off the cliff at that point, even if it completely changed the ending? Actually, I think all the hobbit actors did well in capturing their characters, though especially Sean and Elijah.

Lilly, I know what you mean about Liv Tyler's voice. There's something off about it, but I just can't put my finger on it either. Maybe it just sounds SO elvish that it's out of place compared to everyone else's?

By the way, they have the sneak preview for the ROTK EE on the official site-lordoftherings.net-now. I saw part of at least four scenes that I missed in the original ROTK (I won't say what in case anyone here is afraid of spoilers). I don't know if I'll be able to wait until Christmas to get it. When does it come out? November something, right?
