Beginning and End
Lilly

My favorite beginning is that of the FOTR.

My favorite ending is that of the FOTR.

In my opinion, the Fellowship was the most well-done of all three, in terms of character representation, special effects, and closeness of the story line to that of the book.

BTW: have any of you seen or played the newest LOTR video game: The Third Age?
My brothers just got it and I'm playing it too. It's a fun game, but I laugh and laugh at the awful, awful treatment of Tolkien. I mean, he put SO MUCH into the story, and such a deep and intricate amount of lore...did they really have to make up THAT much??

It's kind of like a bad parody, or some crazy fan fiction. I mean, I like it as a game, but as a LOTR fan I'm torn between laughing out loud at the sheer awfulness of it and just groaning at the absurdity of it.

Or maybe I'm just nit-picky.

yours.
