Beginning, end, and the Third Age
Bob Praz

My favourite beginning would have to be TTT, I guess, like many others. I love the music and cinematography at the opening. FOTR not far behind, though, especially with the Last Alliance (if only we could see more of it!).
Favourite ending would be ROTK, I believe, as it stayed true to the ending of the book, and it really felt like the satisfying end of a saga. Once again, FOTR is not far back in second.

Has anyone on this forum played EA's the Third Age game, by any chance? I have been sceptical about it for some time, and have read some mixed reviews, but I was wondering if anyone was able to give their own opinion on it (as to whether or not its worth playing).

Hopefully the Battle for Middle-Earth, at least, will live up to all its anticipation, as I think it will. Still a few weeks to wait though. Why must everything be delayed till Christmas season?
