Double Standards
Annatar

The people of Rohan are presented as being on the "Goodies" side, yet the forces of Mordor are seen as the "Baddies", why? How they treat their neighbours? Ok, Orcs and the like tend to enjoy killing Elves etc, but the people of Rohan regularly enjoyed the hunt of other men. The Woses were hunted for sport. Who then is the more evil? They who are created and bred to hate, or those "good" men of the Rohirrim?!
What choice do the Orcs have, but to kill what they hate and when ordered?
Choice makes us responsible for our actions. The more civilised the people, the greater the evil they do when the stoop to barbaric acts.
Along the lines of only a coward is capable of showing the highest courage. Only a "good" person is capable of the deepest evil. Got further to travel I suppose.

The cry of how Isengard and Mordor destroy Nature, what of Gondor!?! As Ghan-buri-ghan said it appeared like they ate stone for food. Gondor sliced up the country side, chopping down ages old forests for farmland, roads and cities. There was a time, as Treebeard reported, you could walk from Fangorn to the north, to the old forest all the way under the leaves of trees. But then the Numenoreans and later the Exiles chopped and destroyed all before them.

"But Orcs even kill their own, and eat them!" At least Orcs kill each other for food, not for jewels, not for ships, not for Oaths. Need I go into the details of the numerous Kinslayings?!

The Forces of Mordor treated all alike, there was no racism. What of Thingol? What of Lothlorien?! How they treated those of lesser physical stature, the Dwarves?! What of Thingol and later Elronds view of Men? "I will not allow my daughter to marry a Human unless, A) Gets a Simaril B)Becomes the King of a reunified North and South" Humans are not "good enough" for elves to marry seemingly.

Can anyone name anything "evil" done by Mordor that wasnt already done by the "Good guys"???

I think not.

Mordor may have committed evil deeds at times but they were more honest and less base in their reasons than when the West commited them.

Sauron was also more generous to his enemies than the West. When was the last time an Elf gave an Orc a ring?! A simple cheap tin ring even?? Yet Sauron generously handed out Gold and Mithril rings.

Anyways I better go. Hopefully I will have reached a few people, who will now question the ongoing Elf-propaganda.

See you all later my friends :) Ash Nazg...
