Butchery
Annatar

First things first, Brett C, congrates on the new arrival. All the best for the little'un.

JACKSON!!! What have you done!?!
Some things were good to see included but they all could have been done so much better.
Like the dialogue with Saruman. Saruman seems to know Frodo is away off to Mordor with the Ring. If he knows, so does Sauron. If Sauron knows...

Grima seems to go mental at the smallest insult.

Gandalfs staff being broken is very iffy. Saying the Witchking is weaker then Gandalf is open to argument. The Witchking had the entire power of Sauron flowing through him. Gandalf couldnt hope to take on Sauron. I will admit the Witchking has more weak spots than Gandalf, but the offensive power would be overwhelming. Still, no need to break his staff. Indeed no reason to change from the book. Nazgul entry after Grond.

As said before by others, geographical changes - The Dimholt.

Some additional dialogue was lovely to see added, I have to admit.

Biggest gripe.... The Mouth Of Sauron. Or rather Aragorns reaction to him. One scene I dearly wanted to see added and they did that to it...
Firstly, they rushed it, what happened to talk of surrender and pulling back past Anduin, of the rebuilding of Isengard etc???
Secondly and most importantly, a truce/parley should NOT be broken with violence. Aragorn showed himself to be less then noble in this. Breaking a parley when no violence was offered by TMOS.

Hopefully repeated viewing and time will allow me to forgive Jackson for this butchery.

I swear when I rebuild the Black Tower, Jackson will have an interview with the head torturer.
And you will hear my laughter as far as Valinor

See you all later :) Ash Nazg...
