After the defeat fo the Gondor et al
Annatar

Faerlas, Saurons plan was not to destroy, but to control. The West happened to be in the way so they needed to be destroyed. If they had bent the knee to him they would have lived on in peace, much like the Black Numenoreans etc.
A defeated Gondor would have "suffered" much like the people of Dor-Lomin in the First Age when they were ruled by Morgoth. If thay had joined willingly they would have been placed high in the councils of Mordor.
As the ages pass, Humans would have become the upperclass of the new system.
Sauron wanted order and progress. He wanted nothing to stand it its way.
Valinor he would have left to itself. He couldnt reach it anyways, seeing as it is removed from the world.
The only way he could bring them down was from within. Smuggle a device into Aman using a captured elf. A device of power, with no link to the one Ring. This device is not a weapon of control, but of conflict. To bring civil war to Valinor.
Weaken the Guard set on Melkors prison so he can break free. Of course if I was Sauron I'd let Morgoth rot in the darkness. Why be servant when you can be Master?!! Better to rule in Hell than serve in... erm... Hell.

As for Middle-Earth ending... Earth is Ea. Due to upheaval over millenia, where I live was once Himring (Donegal Ireland).

Happy Christmas from Mordor Mho Chara. Remember its not the size of the presents that counts, but the birth of a child 2009 yrs ago (allowing for mistakes in the calendar).

PEACE!

PAX MORDORIA... who said Americana?!!! Not me! :P
See you all later :) Ash Nazg...
