Warmer Warmer...

Faerlas, the world itself keeps track of temperature changes. Changes in rainfall, temperature, carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere can be found from ice core drilling (In Greenland for example). It is true to say climate is cyclical but we are speeding things up and making it 100 times worse. There are alot (we have a good load over here) who think Global warming means hotter summers, warmer winters and welcome it. Warmer Summers would be lovely but it does not follow. In our case, it will probably be more rain and colder winters. Great. Just what Ireland needs, more rain!!

Just one final thing on the anti-etc discussion.
Everett, while I agreed with you being Anti something doesnt mean you hate something, a thought began to bug me...
"Anti-french foreign policy in regards to US activities in Iraq" is one thing, but being Anti-french is something different altogether.
The first is specific to a difference of opinion, the second is a racist comment. Anti-french = against an entire nationality. To be anti anything based on nationality, religion or colour of ones skin is being racist.
If I was to say I was Anti-black there would be screams of racist, Nazi etc and rightly so. The position of Anti-french is no less racist.
So the question arises, are the people who say they are anti-french racist or is it that they used a poor choice of words? There are no alternatives.

Anyways lets talk of other things... how about religion??!!
Joke! Now there's one topic to get the blood flying.
