Lions, Tigers and Bears
Annatar

Oh my!
On points of pickyness, Galadriel was not allowed back into Valinor proper, but had to live on Tol Eressëa. Galadriel and all her kin did not go back to Valinor because they wanted to, but rather they were forced to by the ever multiplying humans and a little strife with Morgoth and Sauron - made life a little difficult.
Just because Galadriel didn't see her Arts as magic doesnt mean they they weren't. If I am a vegetarian, and I call pigs potatoes, does that mean I can eat bacon (potato wedges)?

The Dwarves of Khazad-Dum fought side by side with the elves of Eregion. When Eregion/Hollin had fallen and Saurons troops moved further on, it was the Dwarves of Khazad-Dum that attacked Saurons army allowing Elrond to escape with this Elves to Rivendell. Yet when the Dwarves needed help, where were the Elves? "They didnt think themselves strong enough to go Balrog hunting"? When did that ever stop the edain helping the Elves? Hurin and Co, slaughered, defending Elves as they ran away. Elvish help may have defeated the Balrog, at the very least it would have reduced the slaugher of Dwarves. But no, they sat smug in their shiny, radioactive tree saying "I told you so" to the Dwarven refugees as they filed past (Elves warned them not to delve to deep).

And what of the Valar?!! allowing Balrogs and co to escape?! Very bad workmanship. If the Valar built houses they would be cowboys that forgot half the plumbing, charged double, said it was your fault, then when they eventually come to fix the problem - after hounding them on the phone and only then when you get a face to face meeting (Earendil)- they destroy half the house!!!
Course in "fixing" the house they ignore alot of the leaks which then cause problems years down the line.
Valar/Cowboys... who needs em!!

See you all later :) Ash Nazg...
