Fight Club
Annatar
The first rule of Fight Club...
"We're a generation of men raised by women"
"We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off."
Ahhhh it was on the TV so I had to share (because it was stuck in my head, and if I'm gonna be stuck with it so are you :) ).
A Classic film that I think everyman can relate to. We get the feeling we are being changed into something else. That we are not sposed to be men any more. Ads on TV would have all men as being more feminine than masculine. Either that, or we are the butt of every joke, while a woman smiles wisely in the background. This is not women bashing, indeed in all thing we are and should be equal. Wages, respect etc...
But current culture demeans all men. We are missing something very important in what it is to be men.
Sorry about that. Just popped into my head and had to be let out.
Opalys, sometimes fighting is good thing. At school I decided not to fight anymore, and was promptly bullied for the next few years till I snapped and hammered the head off an eejit. Best fight ever! First Round First minute kinda stuff. It stunned them all and all the bullying stopped at once.
Fighting isn't a good thing but sometimes it needs to be done.
Oohh what do you have as tatoos? (if not a too personal question. I wont ask about the piercings :P )
Better go and do a little work. See ya :) Ash Nazg...
