MISunderSTANDINGS with EXPLANATions
Anthony T.
Thank you Diana for your very thoughtful and enlightening instruction on how I should express myself. It is always great to receive such constructive criticism. I did not in the slightest realise I was being offensive or rude or even attacking you personally (considering that I didn’t even know who you were at the time).
Please accept my sincerest and deepest regrets at any dissatisfaction you may have felt whilst reading my personal and individual opinion on subjects that I would like to discuss. Next time I have anything to say (with the exception of this message), I will by all means pass it by you first, in order to be edited and censored wherever you deem fit.
Have you ever read the book “1984” by Orwell? I think you may really enjoy it, it will probably give you an amazing amount of insight into your own character (not that you don’t have an amazing amount of insight already, its just that I think you and big Brother would have a lot in common).
But whilst I'm on the subject of censorship, freedom of speech, and constructive criticism, I’d like to just offer some constructive criticism of my own (with your permission of course):
I believe that such phrases as “I didn’t even say anything about you, so mind your own business” and “you could express your disagreements in a less offensive way” is kind of like the “pot calling the kettle black”, which is a euphemism really for the word “hypocrite”.
And another thing: maybe to you CAPS and !!!!!!! means yelling and scolding – to me, I happen to be Italian, and I really just see it as passion of expression. If you knew me, which you obviously do, since again you are SOOOOOOOOO insightful into my character, you would know that I am one of the least offensive people out there…I just happen to believe strongly about what I believe in! (no offence meant by that last exclamation mark). If I wanted to offend you, I would use words that really shouldn’t be printed here (I think you may have an understanding of what those words might be).
But since I have been so generously guided in what I can and cannot say by yourself, I wouldn’t dream of calling you a “hypocrite”.
Continue to enlighten me and the rest of us, Diana, for I believe it is your true calling in life.
Love to you and your Family xxx :) !!!!!!!
