Postings and A Flawed Zealot

Opalys, I remember a while ago being driven mad when posting. Usually I highlight all the text and Copy before I submit, just in the off chance it does what it did to you.

Wish you wouldnt leave us, but you know your own mind.

And then there was two..........

Maybe I should start a topic that would get people talking again, if only in anger.

Lemme see.....

Religion is best to cause arguments...

How come non-Roman Catholic Christian Churches do not properly honour Our Lady? They raise the accusation of Worship. We do not Worship anyone but God (all aspects of the Trinity). We may pray/ask Mary, the Saints and Angels for their Intercession, but this is not Worship. We see the inhabitants of Heaven, Purgatory and Earth as one in the same Church. As a member of this Church I feel there is no Sin in asking a fellow member to pray to God for me or another. We are all urged to pray for victims, both living and dead of disasters yet no one objects, and rightly so. There is no difference in asking those fellow members in Heaven to pray on our behalf as well.
Asking for Intercession is not Worship, saying such shows a huge misunderstanding of all Catholics.
Why do Roman Catholics rever Our Lady so much? because she is as perfect as a solely human person can be (Christ being both God and Man). Why do I make such a statement? A vessel that brought The Christ into the world, would have to be, and is, completely pure. Anything else is an insult to God. After delivering Jesus, Our Lady is raised above all by such an honour (Remember what Gabriel said to her at the Annuciation). Mary is kept pure, not but herself, but by the grace and blessing of God. Numerous other pointers show the way. The wedding at Cana. Mary Interceded with Jesus on behalf of others. etc etc....
I have a vague memory of someone saying Our lady was too busy Worshipping God in Heaven to appear on Earth (Lourdes...). Spreading Christs message is Worshipping God. If what appears is not of God yet preaches Gods message, well.... a house divided cannot stand, yet still the Devil works, so the Apparition must be from God and so all she says Truthful - hence it is the Virgin that appears.



Whew!!

If that doesnt get a conversation/argument going nothing will!!!
