I need to learn to speak better!
Farlas
I understand better now what you mean by having the saints pray for you. I do understand that they are perhaps more alive than we are. (Or dead as we call it in the Shadowlands :O)) ) I cannot find anything in the scriptures negating the practice, but I just don't see much of a point in it.
I think either we don't know all the rules, or they have been changed since the death of Christ (referring to the rich man and Lazerus)
NO! I do remember Samuel himself, I do not remember his death. It would be terrible if I forgot Samuel. After all, I have a cousin named after him.
Well, I have nothing more to say about Mary, so we can let that drop. For the moment. XD
I'm not saying God can't work with out us, I am saying we'll miss out if we don't listen to Him.
I do not think we shall ever agree on the UN or a common council of churches. And as I said, two Baptists can't agree for very long, let alone a Baptist, a Catholic, a Presbyterian and a Mormon or something.
I see what you mean about Islam, but I do not think it is quite the same God we acknowledge. Knowing what little I do know about them, I just dont' see the similarities.
If they are saved I'll see about anyone as a brother or a sister, but not necessarily a sister church. Perhaps our views on bro/sis churches are different. Our sister churches are ones with similar or identical doctrinal statements.
The UN bugs me. Their policies are aggravating... but let us PLEASE not go there! (unless we clean run out of topics to debate)
You would be a Sidhe then! Oh, you like most of us! YAY! I like most all y'all too!
*reads your segment on time* I love theories on time! All that stuff is enchanting to me. Just do NOT ask me to do the math with it... I can't.
Personally, I think after the destruction of the earth time as we know it shall cease. Mostly because we won't need it. Just a thought...
As for the Bible, what then was with John eating it? I do recall that in chapter...19? That's the number that comes to mind.
Yes, you are definitely in the top three as far as longest posts go. You may win it, but maybe one day I'll ramble on faaar longer. I can, but I try not to bore people.
QUIT SNORING! XD :O)))))
I'm sorry I wasn't more argumentative, but I spent two and a half hours raking four yards. Why do all these little old ladies have to have lots of big ole trees in their yards?
All for now!
