Opalys, all our thoughts and prayers are wingin' their way over to you.
People say things like the "grief will heal" and "the pain will lessen in time" true though they are these word are pretty much meaningless at times like these, but hopefully you, we, can pickup on the concern and love behind them.
Be assured around the world alot of people are holding you and yours in their thoughts, wishing they could ease the pain even a little bit.

No matter when anyone dies, loved ones left behind always feel guilt. A husband dies on the way to work a wife will think why didnt I keep him at home...
Your grand-mother KNOWS how much you love her and is happy and content with this knowledge in Heaven as we speak. She would not want you to feel angry about missing visits. She would want you to remember her as she was - the laughing, dancing and shopping grandma. This is who she truely was. Smile at her memory, knowing she is smiling back at you from above.
