Holy, Holey, and Wholly
Farlas

That is something I can't wrap my mind around, how Jesus was wholly God and wholly man. He was obviously tempted, but he always resisted, therefore being the perfect model of a Christian. It leads me to wonder whether or not we could follow in His pattern more closely than we think we can. Oh bother, I muddled that up. Let me try again: It makes me wonder whether or not it would be possible for another Enoch like person to come along who is so righteous and holy before God that God simply translate him into heaven. If this was done before Jesus died by a mere mortal, done by one who was God and man, then should it not be able to happen again? That we are so filled with the Holy Ghost that we could be, almost perfect? Or at least complete?

The mind reels...

She will mourn for you when she learns you have never had peeps. She swears you are missing out on something fantastic. I must concure, even though I am not a huge marshmallow fan, I do like a good peep every now and then.

No, it does not legitimize Nazi Germany. Wrong is still wrong. God hates murder so much that he demands the murder dies as punishment. And, if you are going to question why God allowed Hitler to kill so many, you might as well question why God hardened Pharoah's heart. Why God allows these things, I do not know. I do not understand His story well enough to see why, nor do I question His judgement on such matters.

I agree with your explanation of God and time, but that sort of jumped away from what I was thinking. My point was, Jesus saved Mary Magdelene from being stoned as a symbolic act of the grace that would be freely given under His soon coming self sacrifice. That and, a little side factor may have been that she would tell the discliples He had arisin and all that.

Ack! Must go! food in oven about to burn!
